Terms of Service

SpellRift is an independent Discord bot and web dashboard that provides League of Legends tracking features for Discord communities: live match feeds, ranked leaderboards, match predictions, an in-server economy (SpellRift Gold), in-game challenges, AI-powered post-game coaching, and server configuration via a web dashboard.

SpellRift is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by:

• Riot Games — creators of League of Legends
• Discord — the platform SpellRift operates on

SpellRift isn't endorsed by Riot Games and doesn't reflect the views or opinions of Riot Games or anyone officially involved in producing or managing League of Legends or any other Riot Games title.

To use SpellRift you must:

• Have a valid Discord account
• Be at least 13 years old (Discord's minimum age requirement)
• Not be prohibited from using the service under applicable law

If you choose to link a Riot account, it must be an account you personally own. Linking accounts that belong to other people without their consent is not permitted.

4.1 — Merchant of Record

Premium subscriptions are sold and managed by Paddle as Merchant of Record. For billing purposes, your subscription contract is with Paddle. Paddle is responsible for payment processing, invoicing, and tax collection. SpellRift does not handle or store your payment information directly.

4.2 — Refund Policy

We offer a 7-day refund policy for new subscriptions only. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, contact us within 7 days of your initial payment at contacto@spellriftbot.com for a full refund. Subscription renewals are non-refundable. For billing disputes, contact Paddle directly as they are the Merchant of Record for all SpellRift transactions.

4.3 — Cancellation

You may cancel your Premium subscription at any time through Paddle's billing portal. After cancelling, you retain Premium access until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time remaining in a paid period.

4.4 — Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. Any price change will be communicated with reasonable advance notice before it takes effect.

4.5 — Premium Features vs. API Data

SpellRift Premium unlocks expanded bot capabilities — such as linking more League of Legends accounts per server and configuring dedicated notification channels per queue type. Premium does not grant access to Riot Games API data; all Riot data used to power SpellRift's core features (match feeds, leaderboards, rank tracking) is available on both free and premium plans.

You agree not to:

• Use SpellRift to harass, spam, or harm other Discord members
• Violate Discord's Terms of Service or Riot Games' Terms of Service in connection with SpellRift
• Artificially exploit the SpellRift economy (Gold, predictions, challenges) — for example, by using multiple accounts or coordinating to manipulate outcomes for personal gain
• Attempt to access or interfere with systems or data not intended for you
• Scrape, mine, or redistribute data from SpellRift in bulk

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to SpellRift at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms of Service or behave in a way that is harmful to other users or to the service.

If your access is terminated due to a terms violation while you have an active Premium subscription, no refund will be issued.

SpellRift is provided "as is" without any warranty of any kind. We make no guarantees regarding uptime, data accuracy, or continuous availability. The service may be interrupted, changed, or discontinued at any time.

SpellRift relies on the Riot Games API and Discord API — downtime or changes to those platforms may affect SpellRift's functionality without notice.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the total liability of the SpellRift developer to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 3 months preceding the claim.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of SpellRift after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Material changes will be communicated via a Discord announcement in our support server.
