Privacy Policy

We collect data from three sources:

From Discord (when you log in to the dashboard)

• Your Discord user ID, username, and avatar.

From Riot Games (only when you voluntarily link your Riot account)

• PUUID — Riot's internal anonymous player identifier
• Summoner name and tag line
• Current ranked standing: tier, division, LP
• Match history: champion, role, KDA, items, game outcome, duration

From public high-ELO data (for internal meta analysis)

From your use of the service

• Server configuration settings: feed channels, leaderboard channels, notification channels, bot language — stored per Discord server
• SpellRift Gold balance: your in-server economy balance earned through predictions and challenges
• Premium subscription status and renewal date (subscription data managed via Paddle — see Section 6)

What we do NOT collect

• Payment card numbers, bank details, or any financial information — handled entirely by Paddle, our payment processor
• Email addresses, unless you provide one voluntarily when contacting us
• Personal data from children under 13. SpellRift is not directed at minors

All data collected is used exclusively to provide and improve SpellRift's features:

• Displaying live match feeds and leaderboards in your Discord server
• Running match predictions and tracking the in-server economy (Gold)
• Showing player profiles and challenge progress
• Letting server administrators configure SpellRift through the web dashboard
• Managing Premium subscription access

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising, marketing, or any purpose unrelated to the SpellRift service.

Data retrieved from the Riot Games API is used solely to deliver SpellRift's features to your Discord community. Specifically:

• Riot API data is not sold or used for any commercial purpose outside of the SpellRift service
• We do not aggregate or redistribute match data to third parties
• We do not use Riot API data to identify or profile users outside the SpellRift context
• Data is retrieved for linked accounts and, as needed, for other players encountered in their matches (e.g., to display participants in scoreboards)
• SpellRift is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Riot Games

Our use of the Riot Games API complies with the Riot Games Developer Policies.

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database. Temporary data such as session tokens and rate-limit counters are held in Redis and expire automatically within a short period.

We apply standard technical safeguards to protect your data. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection against all threats.

We retain your data for as long as you have an active presence in the SpellRift system — meaning your Discord or Riot account is linked in at least one server where SpellRift is installed.

To request deletion of your data, unlink your account from all servers via the dashboard, or contact us at contacto@spellriftbot.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and your Discord user ID. We will process your request within a reasonable timeframe.

Premium subscriptions are processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record. Paddle collects and manages your payment information directly — SpellRift never sees your card number, billing address, or any other financial details.

You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correct — ask us to fix inaccurate or incomplete data
• Delete — request that we erase your data
• Object — object to how we process your data

If you are in the European Union, you also have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority. SpellRift is not formally registered in the EU, but we take these rights seriously and will handle any GDPR request in good faith.

SpellRift integrates with three external services:

• Discord — for authentication and bot delivery. Discord's own privacy policy governs the data Discord collects on their end.
• Riot Games — as the source of League of Legends game data. Riot's policies apply to their systems.
• Paddle — for payment processing and subscription management.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.

Significant changes will be communicated via a Discord announcement in our support server.
